The food is amazing!
Khan's is a fantastic Mongolian Barbecue. The atmosphere is super fun, the staff are friendly and attentive (they even went out of their way to offer to help us with sauces when it looked like we might not be sure what to do), and the ingredients are super fresh and amazing. With the selection of ingredients you can come away with something different with every trip you make.
Great selection of foods and fresh. Make your own bowls so they could always be different. Helpful staff willing to help those that don't know the sauses. Never had a bad dish. Side note: watch your feet and the rugs. I've seen many people get tripped up and their bowls spill on them, the floor or person next to them.
The food was terrible. The noodles felt rubbery. The meat looked as if it had been sitting out for a while and it was all thawed out. The cooks pour water on your food to keep it moisturized but it just rinses off the sauce of your flavor off your food. They over cook it. The tea is not actually tea. The only thing good was the virgin drinks. Definitely would choose Hu Hot over them. It cost us $70 for 3 people for a 1 time trip to the entree area.
I visit this spot a lot since I work in the area. I like how their customer service is always awesome and they keep the place well kept consistently. Pricing is affordable and they serve big portions.
I make it a point to come here whenever I am in town. It is reasonable and always delicious. Thanks for another great meal this evening!
Great food. Gotta learn to pile it high!
Loved this place for years now. Amazing food and very unique take on traditional Mongolian.
Always excellent service, and the sauces are outstanding.
If you're not familiar, in the past you would fill a bowl with your choice of meats, seafood, vegetables, noodles, and various sauces. Then you would take your bowl to be cooked on large grill. Part of the fun was seeing how high you could stack food in your bowl :-) Now, that we're in he Covid world, it's similar to how Subway works. One side of the buffet has a glass barrier. You tell a staff member what you want in your bowl. The staff member loads up your bowl and takes it to be cooked. Your cooked meal is then brought to your table. Social distancing apples to this process. There is limited seating. If you want to dine-in, you have to make a reservation. Still very good. It's a little pricey.
I got so much food there it was well worth it. First time to try something new. I would recommend anyone to go there. It is a great place to go to with. Date. Wife. Whoever best friend friend. Heck, just go try it and write a better review then this one. Thaks
The best food ever!!! Very safe and to go! I have left overs. Please keep this restaurant open.
Today was the first time that we had been to Khan's. It was not what I expected. The server was really nice, but the place was a lot more run down than I expected. The food was so so, nothing special. I am glad we went, I have always wanted to, but I don't think we will ever go back.
Unique dining experience, fresh ingredients, and great ways to customize your dish.
Wonderful food. Build your own bowl. A great way to try new stuff. Wait staff was attentive and fun.
The food was fantastic, I thoroughly enjoyed it, the only thing I would have to say is if you can't handle to much kick get the mild, I got the medium spicy and it was hot
You make your own meals and sauces so you control how spicy or not ,your food is and what exactly you want in it. Kinda pricey
Wooden chairs. No booths. Bar is in a seperate area then dinner area. Buffet style all you can eat. Make your own plate. Vegan friendly.
I am a FAN!!! This is definitely a lunchtime favorite for me. You can fix your own bowl from an assortment of fixings, adding your own spice level. And best of all, it's cooker in front of you. And the service is quick. The staff is friendly. You can get in and out on your lunch break seamlessly.
Delicious food. Nice variety on the buffet! $$
Love this place. Nuff said. But honestly, their food is superb. I’ve managed to figure out a perfect method for cramming a hefty amount of food on my plate (since I’m a pay for 1 plate only kinda person) and I just can’t get enough of this place. The wonton strips with the sauce are also really good. Wish the location was more convenient but I don’t mind making the drive out here for their food!
Hats off Khans. The food was amazing. Being a vegetarian I found it easy to choose my protein, veggies and the different type of sauce. It's great to put a menu out how much sauce to put to make it perfect. My Mongolian friend told me that it's not an authentic Mongolian restaurant. I would recommend to go to this restaurant. Try the One Bowl noodles. Pile up as much you want. The trick is add noodles to your bowl last, that way you can add as much protein and veggies in one meal. Don't forget to try the Wonton chips and Mango Salsa. I loved that salsa.
Food is great, service was great, the only issue me and my husband had was one woman( I think she is the owner of manager maybe) came up to my husband and questioned him about how much he planned to pay since he had two bowls. He took that as her doubting our server(who thoroughly explained how the bowels work) or her treating him as if he was not going to pay. It was rather rude. But overall it was great. I am willing to go back.. my husband not so much.
The best place for Mongolian BBQ in the twin cities!! Super tasty sauce options, rice and wonton chips included. Friendly vibe and fun videos always playing. The only thing they could do better would be to add eggs to the meat/veggie options.
I forget how this place is! Do the all you can eat! Had a group of 5 and they seated us quickly. All in all a nice place to visit with friendly service. I go hear for something different!
With COVID Khan have made some changes. The changes are good in regards to safety, but for me the changes take away from the experience I previously got. I enjoyed stacking my own bowl, now staff builds it, like get setting Subway. The food was still good but missing my touches. I feel myself not getting too excited about Khan's like I use to, after my "balloon" felt deflated.
Absolutely love this place! Make as many plates as food as you want and watch it get cooked in front you. The customer service is fantastic. The vibe is very chill and welcoming. Always enjoy eating the food here. Would highly recommend to anyone
Great service. Food is great. You build your own plate of a huge selection of meats, veggies, fruit, and sauces. They have guides posted on how to choose the spice level for your dish. The grill masters then grill up your choices. Then, you enjoy. Also, they have an all you can eat option.
Delicious food! Friendly staff helps us with making our gluten free combinations for sauces. One of our favorite restaurants!
Always delicious food!!! Good service. They changed how to do the service for covid of course, but you still get to ring a gong for tips 😊
I love this place. I've always enjoyed the atmosphere!!!
Oh my stars, did this place amaze tonight. Everything was so fresh and delicious. All the meat looked amazing and tasted fantastic. All the veggies were crunchy and crisp like they should be. The chefs tonight were spot on! Every bite melted in my mouth.
I love this place! You pick your own veggies, noodles and protein and then create the sauce you want on it. There is a guide to tell you how to control the spice level, etc. Everything is fresh and delicious! No heavy feeling after eating here.
Had a couple great meals here. The food and beer selection is very good. Lots of options on the menu to satisfy a variety of tastes. Waitstaff is very good too.
Great experience! Friendly, helpful staff! Very clean and easy to understand new covid policies!
Love this place. Do noodles last to get the most on your plate. Get way more sauce then they suggest. Like wayyyy more. When they go to cook it on the stove a lot of it runs off. If you triple there recommendations. So dam good
It never fails that they have the best sauces to flavor your dish. Best place for Mongolian bbq. It's on the pricey level for the amount you're able to get for one serving though.
Love eating here. Husband and I love going here on date nights, we would both definitely recommend this establishment. Service has always been great.
Welcome to the best family owned restaurant that specializes in Mongolian food with the humongous double Wok. Khans has been In my family for as long as i can remember. It still is a gathering place for my family when they come in for holidays, family events or what not. We always gather here for great laughs, awesome food and great environment. I now have my own family and it's by far what we crave almost all the time. Fresh vegetables, homemade sauces, great noodles and that beautiful Wok cooking for food. What more can you ask for. My kids ask for it when we celebrate good grades all the way down to requesting it for their birthdays dinners. Truly an amazing place to eat. Double up your sauces and give that dragon oil a try. The flavor will have you craving more.
So glad Khan's was able to stay open. Instead of buffet they have an employee dish up ingredients for you. So yummy!
Num num num in Love with being able to build my own bowl, the COVID policies are so easy!
What a great restaurant. Casual, welcoming atmosphere, friendly and professional and helpful staff, delicious self-designed stir-fry made before your eyes (so you can eat healthily !). Full bar, and a decent wine selection (for this type of police), too. Clean restrooms and overall. Lots of seating. The music was slightly loud, and its genre made me chuckle, something rock and roll but from the 90s.
I've been going to this place since I was in college and first location opened up on campus. I enjoy their selection of vegetables, meats, and sauces which could be used to make a truly memorable stir-fry! I just wish their seats were more comfortable and not hard wood.
Haven't been here in a very, very long time. Seems a little overpriced, sauces don't taste quite right and are hard to mix. Drinks are $3 extra, and our cook seemed to overcook all of our dishes giving them all a black crust. I think your better off going too Super Moon Buffett. I don't think we will be back.
Such great food! They are following all the guidelines for everyone's safety. Please remember to make a reservation . They only serve so many at a time. Please wear a mask for everyone's safety.
Great food. Everything was very fresh. Staff was wonderful. Paid close attention to detail. Hostess/ owner was very courteous.
Go for the experience not for the food. All of the sauces are completely watered down you can actually get some tasteful food if you triple up on the sauces and don't let the cooks pour the watered down soy sauce concoction on your food while cooking it. That in house concoction actually washes away any hopes you may have on getting some real flavor into your food. But for the price its not worth it. It cost my family of four $100 including a 20% tip.
Good food. Fun atmosphere around the cooking area. Mark is our favorite server. Ask to be seated in his section. You won't be disappointed.
Delicious create your own stir fry! Always leave with our bellys fully!
Absolutely delicious and tons of fun! it is a nice and casual atmosphere. The options are all laid out in front of you to choose the perfect plate of deliciousness for yourself. If you don't like the taste of your plate, you can't blame anyone but you since you get to choose all of the items!Pro Tip: Lunch is cheaper than dinner, but only if you stay with one plate whereas dinner is all you can eat. So make sure to pile your ingredients extra high for lunch!
It was a bit of a disappointment. We chose to eat here based on the 4.3 star rating, it really didn't live up to the hype. First, the tables and chairs we were sat at were sticky in several places. Many of the tables around us were vacant and needed bussing. The food itself Mongolian buffet style was okay, good variety of meat options but lacked possible variety in sauce combinations. Most were subtle variations on either soy, oil or lemon juice. There was little direction or guide suggesting what would make a good bowl as you find in other Mongolian buffet places. In the end, the strongest flavor to come through was oil. The service was slow and with it being pre-dinner and not yet a rush, it didn't appear to because of the crowd. It seemed to me that people enjoyed it for the all you can eat factor. I won't be going again.
